Virtual Technologies, Ltd. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers Virtual Technologies' treatment of personally identifiable information that Virtual Technologies may collect when you are on any Virtual Technologies web sites, and when you use any Virtual Technologies services.  This policy also covers Virtual Technologies' treatment of any personally identifiable information that Virtual Technologies' business partners may share with Virtual Technologies, Ltd.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Virtual Technologies does not own or does not control, or to people that Virtual Technologies does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

Virtual Technologies may collect personally identifiable information when you register for a Virtual Technologies’ V-Command account (or any other account/service), when you use certain Virtual Technologies products or services, and when you visit Virtual Technologies’ web pages.  Virtual Technologies may also receive your personally identifiable information from our business partners.

When you register with Virtual Technologies, we ask for your name, email address, birth date, zip code, occupation, industry, and other personal  and financial information.  Once you register with Virtual Technologies and sign in to our V-Command™ (or other) services, you are not anonymous to us or our business partners.  Virtual Technologies may also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Virtual Technologies cookie information and the page you requested.

Virtual Technologies uses information for three general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about specials and new products.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Virtual Technologies will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.  Virtual Technologies will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

•         We have your consent to share the information;

•         We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;

•         We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Virtual Technologies to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);

•         We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or

•         We find that your actions on our web sites violate the Virtual Technologies Terms of Service, or violates any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Cookies

Virtual Technologies may set and access Virtual Technologies cookies on your computer.

Virtual Technologies may allow other companies that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Virtual Technologies' cookies.

Virtual Technologies may use web beacons to access our cookies within our network of web sites and in connection with Virtual Technologies products and services.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information

You may request changes to, or deletion of, your Virtual Technologies account by call Virtual Technologies, Ltd. at our corporate office.

Security

Your Virtual Technologies Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas Virtual Technologies and our business partners use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Virtual Technologies may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting an announcement on our pages.
